Figure 1 (1 repeat of the music - 8 measures) (Verse 1)
1: Couples take inside hands, face up the hall; lead up a double.
2: Fall back a double.
3&4: That again.
5&6: Set and turn (left).
7&8: Set and turn (right).
Figure 2 (1 repeat of the music for each repetition of the figure, done 5 times total) (Chorus 1)
1: Moving couple(s) (couple one to start) meet a double.
2: Slip down between and just past the next couple in line (couple two to start).
3: Turn outwards (down the line) in a 3/4 circle to face the person on your own side.
4: Push this person back a double into the place you just came from (inverting the couples).
5: Face your partner, take hands with the person you pushed, and fall back a double (only the couples that moved).
6: Forward a double.
7&8: Turn your partner all the way around.
Repeat Figure 2 as follows:  
Couples 1 and 3;   
Couples 1 and 4, and  2 and 3;
Couples 2 and 4;
and lastly, to complete the inversion, Couples 3 and 4.

(Note: This dance combines elements from Nonesuch and All a Mode de France, along with some (I believe) modern conventions (in the first "chorus", for example, instead of pusing the second (etc.) couple back away from the set, I have the pushed couple

(Note 2: In All a Mode de France, there is mention of "sides all to the right and left" as verse 2.  So, it would seem that Queen's Alman is not the only mention of directions in these kinds of actions.)
