My Lady Cullen
for a line of as many couples as will.
Reconstructed by Dafydd Cyhoeddwr.
This dance is a continuous progressive dance which requires 3*(n-1) repeats (less the continuous factor) for each of the three figures, plus one repeat for the intro figure. 3 couples = 19 repeats, 4 = 27, 5 = 34.
Music: Incantare by Musica Subterranea, The English Dancing Master disc 1 by Orange and Blue, and the Ranchers.  Neither of these actually have enough repeats, but such is the lot of the "as many as will" dance.

Intro figure:
1&2: Lead up a double, fall back a double
3&4: That again
5&6: Set and turn single, left
7&8: Set and turn single, right
First progressive figure:
1&2: Couple 1 switch places, go around behind the couple 2 and into their position (couple 2 moves up), then switch places again, all in two doubles
3&4: Couple 1 moves up between couple 2, all 4 take hands, and walk in a line abreast to the presence (all in a double), then fall back into normal places in the set (couple 1 below couple 2)
5&6: All 4 take right hands across and go all the way around in two doubles
7&8: All 4 take left hands across and go all the way around in two doubles
R: Do this figure until you come back to your places, sitting out at the top and bottom and coming back in as the opposite type.
Whether you wait until the entire line is back in place to start the second figure, or just the first and second couples, is up to the agreement of the moment.
Second progressive figure:
1&2: Couple 1 casts off and falls into couple 2's place, then slip up to stand between couple 2 facing each other (man 1 in front of man 2, woman 1 in front of woman 2) - all in two doubles
3&4: Couple 2 does the same, casting off and circling in two doubles to end up standing between couple 1 who have stepped back to make room
5: Couple 2 takes both hands and slips up a double while couple 1 slips down a double, taking hands when they can
6: Still holding both hands, couple 1 and couple 2 slip a double closer together
7&8: Set and turn, left
Ditto the comment for the first figure.
R: Do this figure until you come back to your places, sitting out at the top and bottom and coming back in as the opposite type.
Whether you wait until the entire line is back in place to start the third figure, or just the first and second couples, is up to the agreement of the moment.
Third progressive figure:
1&2: Couple 1 switch places, go around behind the couple 2 and into their position (couple 2 moves up), then switch places again, all in two doubles
3&4: Couple 1 moves up between couple 2, all 4 take hands, and walk in a line abreast to the presence (all in a double), then fall back into normal places in the set (couple 1 below couple 2)
5&6: Face your partner and clap once, then the men arm left with each other as the women do the same
7&8: Arm right with your partner
R: Do this figure until you come back to your places, sitting out at the top and bottom and coming back in as the opposite type.
Once everyone is back to place, the dance is finished
