Cast A Bell
for a line of as many couples as will.
Reconstructed by Dafydd Cyhoeddwr
This dance uses the normal formula for the progressive parts, with the added twist that both the verse and each progressive figure takes 2 repeats of the music to complete.
Calculating repeats using this formula: ((((n-1)x3)x2)+2)x3 gives: 3 couples = 42 repeats, 4 = 60, 5 = 78.
Music: New New Nothing by Shulamit Kleinerman - not enough repeats, of course

Verse 1, Part B
1&2: Up a double and back

3: First man puts woman 2 under couple 1's arms into woman 1's place
4: Couple 1 turns half way around into couple 2's proper positions (man 2 just slips up)

2: Take each others' partner by the inside hand, face out of the set, and double forward

4: Couple 1 turn each other halfway around into their proper places.
R: Continue this change, sitting out at the bottom and top and changing type when you come back in, until everyone is back to their starting places, when part 3 can begin.

4: Man 1 takes woman 2 by the right hand, woman 1 takes man 2 by the right hand, and turn them halfway around
TPF, Part B
1&2: Continue turning the person you were by the right hand all the way around (1 1/2 times total)
3: Man 1 and woman 1 change places in a double
4: Man 1 and woman 1 double around behind couple 2 and end up in couple 2's place (couple 2 has slipped up in the mean time)
