The Bath
	for a line of as many couples as will

	This dance requires the normal formula of (n-1)x3 repeats for each progressive figure, plus 2 repeats for each verse.  3 couples requires 24 repeats, 4 = 33, 5 = 42.

Part 1
Verse 1, Part A
1:	Lead up a double
2:	Fall back a double, face your partner.
3&4:	Set and turn single, left.
Verse 1, Part B
1&2:	Up a double and back, face your partner.
3&4:	Set and turn single, right.
Progressive Figure 1:
1:	Couple 1 back a double.
2:	Couple 1 slip into couple 2's place "on the outside" (couple 2 slides up into couple 1's place at the same time.
3&4:	The switch has been accomplished, so they just mark time by taking hands in a circle and going all the way around to their (new) places in two doubles.
R:	Continue down the line, waiting out at the bottom and top, coming back in as the opposite, until everyone is back where they started, when part 2 can begin.
Part 2
Verse 2, Part A
1&2:	Partners side left (walk a double forward to the left to line up right shoulders)
3&4:	Set and turn single, left.
Verse 2, Part B
1&2:	Partners side right (walk a double forward to the right to line up left shoulders)
3&4:	Set and turn single, right.
Progressive Figure 2:
1:	Men 1 and 2, women 1 and 2, double toward each other to meet.
2:	Continue forward a double so you end up on the other side of the set.
3&4:	Circle halfway around to the right so that the couples have switched places and everyone is back on the correct side of the set.
R:	Continue down the line, waiting out at the bottom and top, coming back in as the opposite, until everyone is back where they started, when part 3 can begin.
Part 3
Verse 3, Part A
1&2:	Partners arm left (take right arms and walk two doubles in a circle to the left).
3&4:	Set and turn single, left.
Verse 3, Part B
1&2:	Partners arm right (take left arms and walk two doubles in a circle to the right).
3&4:	Set and turn single, right.
Progressive Figure 3:
1:	Man 1 and man 2 switch places with one double, each faces his partner.
2:	Woman 1 and woman 2 switch places with one double, each faces her partner.
3:	Couple 2 slips down a double while couple 1 slips up (between them).
4:	Couple 1 slips down a double while couple 2 slips up (between them).
R:	Continue down the line, waiting out at the bottom and top, coming back in as the opposite.  When everyone is back where they started, the dance is finished.
