Hi, my name is Pedro and I am a Brazilian!Primary education in Brazil is free and mandatory for kids between the ages of 7 and 14 years of age. Most of our schools are public but a few are Roman Catholic-run. Distance learning is great because you can learn from anywhere in the world using computers and the Internet. Today, my classmates want to teach you about our country and give you a wide perspective about the country, the people, the land and environment. Did you know that Brazil is the largest country in South America? It is surrounded by Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guyana and the Atlantic Ocean at the north; on the east the Atlantic Ocean; on the south by Uruguay; on the west by Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia and Peru; and on the northwest by Columbia. In fact, Brazil touches every country in South America except Chile and Ecuador! |
