05/06/02: Honda Accord LX Coupe 1991 (Automatic)

This vehicle was presented to me as a present by my 10th brother, Ho Cao, on my 24th birtday and graduation from Drexel University.    

This was my first vehicle ever purchased and owned by me.  It was a decent price and Cynthia and I felt we needed a car, so I bought it to better our lives.  Much time, energy, and affection were devoted to this vehicle.  You can see its transformation by viewing the pix posted under this vehicle.

03/31/05: Honda Civic LX Sedan Special Edition 2005 (Manual)

I bought this vehicle and test drove it for roughly 2 weeks, putting around 300+ miles on it to ensure features, functionality and stability of the vehicle is at top notch.  But after teaching my wife to drive a stick shift on another vehicle, I realized that this is not for her.  Hey, but surprisingly, she was able to drive a stick shift under 5 hours of training.  So I traded the vehicle in for the automatic.

I presented this vehicle to her on the 16th as her 23rd birthday present.  At first, I presented her a mixed CD and explained to her how couples valued mixed tapes in the old days.  This is to make her think, this is all I'm giving her for her birthday.  Then finally 2 hours after dinner, I asked her to close her eyes and then gave her the mini bag of Victoria Secret, where the car keys were wrapped ten folds within a wrapped keepsake box.  She loved this present and her whole family came out to see it that night.  But she will definite miss her Civic 92.  She loved that car too.
