Pluto: The Ultimate Planet

This website is dedicated to Pluto's voyage from the Ninth Planet to Dwarf Planet status. Unlike the other eight planets in our Solar System, Pluto is the only one of its kind. Existing in both the outer reaches of space and for a short time, closer to the Sun than Neptune, Pluto's travels take it to places the other eight planets can only imagine. This icy, cold, and distant planet shares a binary relationship, which is the only one of its kind, with its equally icy, cold satellite Charon.
