Acknowledgements
When I was a child learning about our Solar System, the planet I was most interested in was Pluto. It may have been the ninth planet status- being so far away from the Sun or maybe even being the first planet on the edge of the vast unknown Solar System. Perhaps the most memorable is the obsession that Pluto was home to the Abominable Snowman because of its cold, icy rock environment.
I am not a scientist but I am a Planet Lover. This website was created for those interested in Pluto. The information gathered here is largely from NASA's vast collection of websites as well as gathered personal knowledge. The resource links chosen are to websites, which are vastly more educational as well as enjoyable and everything I hope that this website will offer too.
I also wish to dedicate this website to my younger sister, who is an astronomer (or for you Harvard types- an astrophysicist) and to the holidays we spend together as I listen to her talk about the exciting discoveries in the stars, in the planets, and in the universe.
