Learning Objectives

This is a "how to" course -- how to be a successful college student. We are going to give you an opportunity to learn about and to talk about some basic skills, and things that will help you get through the next four years (and the ensuing sixty).

By the end of this course, you will have a more realistic idea of what college is like than you had coming in, and will be better prepared to succeed.

Civic Engagement

As part of this class, you will be required to fulfill a five-hour Civic Engagement obligation. You will hear more about this in the near future, but please be aware that you must complete this by the end of the Winter term.

For more info contact Drexel's Center for Civic Engagement.

One possible course of action is to take part in a pledge drive for WHYY, the local NPR station. For more information, please contact Gideon Umile at gumile@whyy.org.
