What is this?

I've long been interested in dabbling with PC Do It Yourself projects that allow you to gain greater control over your computer and media to simplify daily computing tasks.

After reading innumerable guides and howtos at sites such as Hackaday, Lifehacker, Make, etc. in moments of boredom and implementing a few of these projects, I realised that many of these projects are fun and useful but hard for the average novice to implement quickly and easily.

This site is my take on these projects. The orginal information is from various websites that cater to such projects but presented in my own fashion for beginners to make them more doable for the average internet user.

I understand that despite my best efforts, the howtos might still not be basic enough to make sense of at a glance so I have put together a team of computer novices drawn from a pool of family and friends to approve howtos before they go up on this site.
