Web ResourcesThese resources include any Internet/WWW Resources that provide information on the role of economics as an analytical tool for international studies. The LinksBEA produces economic accounts statistics that enable government and business decision-makers, researchers, and the American public to follow and understand the performance of the Nation's economy. Data is also broken out into national, international, regional and industry. This website is maintained by the Library of Congress and it is an ongoing process by the LOC to digitize their Country Studies/Area Handbook Program. The Country Studies Series presents a description and analysis of the historical setting and the social, economic, political, and national security systems and institutions of countries throughout the world. Full text of variety of high quality resources, sources include university research institutes, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), foundation, conferences. Also provides teaching tools such as case studies and course packs on topics of contemporary interest. The PAIS International database from CSA contains citations to journal articles, books, government documents, statistical directories, grey literature, research reports, conference reports, publications of international agencies, microfiche, Internet material, and more. Newspapers and newsletters are not indexed. PAIS International includes publications from over 120 countries throughout the world. | |||
