This site is a small tribute to the love of guitars and anything related. To many people, guitars are just another popular instrument in contemporary music, but to some, it is much more.

A work of art

Fine instruments are not just mass produced widgets made on an assembly line, but rather are uniquely designed and meticulously crafted by artisans that carry on hundreds of years of tradition of blending beauty with precision. Higher-end and vintage guitars are no exception and the proof can be found on their price tags.

A passion

There is an entire community of musicians and enthusiasts that share a common love of not just music, but specifically, the guitars and their complimenting accessories that make the music. For musicians that play the guitar, countless hours of exercises and practice, which to most would seem quite boring, can be pure enjoyment. It is not just the discipline of practice or playing either. People collect guitars, make them, modify them, teach both how to make and play guitars, and anything else imaginable.

A release

As with all music, it can be used as a psychological release. Some just find their music to channel through them best by means of playing the guitar. The guitar is an instrument for of soul because of how the actual construction of guitars can mesh to a person and visa versa. For instance, tone can be dropped or lifted. Growl can be pushed. A soft sustain can be carried. Strings can be bent to accentuate dissonance, played by finger or pick, arpeggiated, strummed, slapped, popped, hammered on, pulled off, and tapped, just to name a few. The guitar is a very versatile instrument and this is why many use it as their musical medium.
