Liberty magazine always has something interesting. And they have published my satirical fiction and essays, so you know they have good taste. Much of their content is not available online, but you can find out more at www.libertyunbound.com.
Writers and Friends
www.valerieblock.com is the online home of my friend, Valerie Block, a writer of funny and insightful novels, including Was It Something I Said? and None of Your Business.

Lester Goran (I call him Professor Goran and always will, I suspect) is the author of numerous books, including his brilliant collection of short stories, Tales from the Irish Club, a New York Times Notable Book, as well as the compelling memoir of his friendship with Isaac Bashevis Singer, The Bright Streets of Surfside.
My cousin Robert Katz is a sculptor and professor of art at the University of Maine at Augusta. Much of his recent work is inspired by his understanding of the Holocaust.
Christopher Largen (WaronJunk.com) is the author of Junk, a satirical novel that explores prohibition policies through the premise of a future America that has outlawed unhealthy eating. He is also the author of a nonfiction book called Prescription Pot.
Andrew Turner designed the cover and interior of my book When Falls the Coliseum, and also created images for the second version of the online magazine of the same name (in addition to designing the site in its original incarnation). He designed the brochure for the Department of English and Philosophy and my personal Web site which you now read. And, he designed the campaign buttons for mmm4prez.com and television talk show set for itsdrkaren.com. Plus, he gets my jokes. www.turnerdesign.com
