Philosophical essays are welcome on any topic, but preference will be given to papers that reflect this year's theme “Mind and Emotions,” broadly construed. Only undergraduates may submit papers. All papers accepted for the conference will be published on the web in the Annual Proceedings of the Greater Philadelphia Philosophy Consortium Undergraduate Philosophy Conference. Papers should be approximately 3,000 words and suitable for a twenty minute presentation. Papers may be sent in hard copy or via email, and must be prepared for blind review. Make sure the author's contact information and identity do not appear anywhere in the paper. If sending an electronic version, please send MSWord or .pdf files if possible. Respondents are also requested. Please let us know if you are willing to be a respondent or commentator (respondents need not submit a paper but may wish to do so). Send your paper by email to sally.scholz@villanova.edu or regular mail to Dr. Sally Scholz, Center for Peace & Justice Education, Sullivan Hall, Villanova University, Villanova, PA 19085. The deadline for submissions has been extended to January 5, 2007. Notification to authors whose papers have been accepted will be made by Jan. 26, 2007.
