YOUNG INVESTIGATOR TRAVEL SUPPORT TO MCMSki IV Chamonix Mont-Blanc, France, January 6-8, 2014

We anticipate obtaining grant support from various sources (ISBA, SBSS and ISBA-BayesComp) to help subsidize the cost of attending MCMSki IV for young investigators (persons within 5 years of receiving the PhD) presenting talks or posters at the meeting.

ISBA has also committed to support young researchers with preference to senior/advanced students active in research over young researchers post-PhD, and preferentially to students from economically disadvantaged countries (rather than from the E.U. and the U.S./Canada).

As such, we encourage applications from young investigators from all parts of the world.

Persons requesting travel support must submit the items in the following list (peferably in that order).

  • abstract
  • extended abstract or copy of your paper (.pdf or .ps)
  • current CV (.pdf or .ps)

To do this you must first register on the ISBA website (if you have not done so already). The abstract must first be submitted on the ISBA abstract page. Select "MCMSKI IV" in the Meeting field, and "Brad Carlin MCMSKI IV" under the Session Organizer field. You may have to login in prior to this step. Next submit your extended abstract or copy of your paper and cv on the ISBA travel support page.

The deadline to apply for financial support is October 15, 2013.
