Commitment Statement

For the Mount Crew Team to embrace a level of commitment and inclusion, the team as a whole, including coaches and all athletes must foster an environment of communication and support.  Team members should work together to achieve the common goal of being a successful team.  Each team member must contribute a 100% effort and be dedicated not only to the team but also to each other.  Teammates and coaches should not make any assumptions or generalizations about other athletes.  Each member of the team must be treated equally, regardless of skill, grade, or ability level.  This will ensure a successful and fun season.

In order to develop and embrace an attitude of respect, we must foster an environment of flexibility, understanding, positivity, and support to ensure equal treatment of all rowers no matter what their class, ability, or boat.  As a result, we hope to reach our fullest potential as an interdependent team, working towards unity and success, while embracing an attitude of respect.
