About this Site

The goal of this site is to provide information about how to become an academic reference librarian.

To that end, the author shares her professional and educational experiences in an effort to instruct the visitor about potential pathways into the librarian profession. A visitor may learn (for example) about how to select a degree program, how to navigate the core library curriculum, how to secure a library internship, and how to find a first professional position.
