Bride Bingo Game

Bride Bingo

Another great bridal shower game is Bride Bingo. The gift opening can become a bit tedious and this game can spice things up and keep the guests interested in what is being opened. Hand out bingo sheets and pencils to all the guests and ask them to write down a gift that they think the bride will recieve in each blank box. To keep the game from ending too soon, explain to the guests that gifts packaged by the manufacturer can only count as one gift (i.e. if the bride receives a gift containing oven mitts, pot holders, paper napkins etc. that was packaged by the manufacturer, then the guest can only check off oven mitts OR pot holders OR paper napkins, but not all). If the guests seem to like this game then let them keep playing until several people get bingo.

Couple Trivia

Another game involves answering trivia questions about the bride and groom. It's important to avoid inside jokes or questions that only the bride's closest friends would know the answers to. Grandmothers and other relatives may feel ashamed that they know less about the life of the bride than her friends, even though they love her more. To balance things out include questions about the bride's childhood that her relatives will know.(i.e "What was Jane's favorite toy growing up?" or "How did Jane break her arm in fourth grade?"). This game will probably result in guests learning new and interesting facts about the bride and the bridal couple. To make the game easier you can include multiple choice answers or ask true or false questions. Some example questions are:

Prizes

You may want to provide prizes for the winners of your games to encourage active participation. Small candles and chocolate candy always work well. You can find a plethora of prizes at your local dollar store!
