Months 5 to 8

The next 5 months are an exciting time in a baby's life. Finally free from the stresses of being in the world, he can begin to adapt to the fun times of playing with toys, playing with family, and exploring everywhere that his little arms and legs will take him.

The beginning of James's fifth month brought the holiday of Easter and all the excitement that comes with a nice family holiday. First, James got to put on his cute new Easter Outfit. Second, the holiday was the first time that all four James Meadows were together in one place. James Sr., James Jr., James III, and James IV all gathered together in one room.

With all of the new people here, naturally James did not waste time in attempting to steal everyone's hearts. He quickly won the affection on Aunt Kathy by falling asleep in her arms while she held him.

Of course, during these months, the little man also needs to take extra time to get better acquainted with the relatives he has already met. James got a large number of opportunities to meet these family members, especially in May, when his mother got a new job and we moved in with my parent's house while we saved money to purchase our own place.

Above, you can see him with his Grandpa Meadows, Aunt Faith, and Great Grandpa Meadows.

Playing

Playing with Mommy

With Daddy

Despite all of the fun and exploration, a baby's life is still focused around playing and spending time with his parents. These months brought added significance and he got to celebrate Mother's Day and Father's Day with his parents. Still, when all is said and done, James was happy when in his Mommy and Daddy's arms with a toy in hand.
