We are currently recruiting 1 Ph.D student and 1 postdoc to work on an NSF funded Dimensions of Biodiversity grant focused on Cephalotes ants and their gut bacteria (Dimensions: Identifying how the ecological and evolutionary interactions between host and symbiont shape holobiont biodiversity; Award ID 1442144). The Ph.D position starts in the fall of 2015. The postdoctoral position will start as early as May 2015.

As always, we welcome undergraduates and other volunteers with keen interests in symbiosis, insects, microbes, ecology, and evolution.
