he Russell Lab is a part of the Department of Biology at Drexel University, in Philadelphia. We’re located in University City, with great proximity to all of the wonderful things that Philly has to offer. Our interests are strongly rooted in ecology and evolution, and we utilize both experimental and molecular tools to study interactions between animals and their resident bacteria. We seek students who share our interests in symbiosis, coevolution, phylogenetics, dietary evolution, and environmental microbiology.
