  • Study of interactions of liquid crystals inside carbon nanotubes (CNTs)
  • Study of interactions of liquid crystals and ferroelectric polymers to develop electro-optic devices including optical memories and liquid crystal displays (LCDs)
  • Morphological studies on polymers using AFM, Nano-indenter and SEM
  • Development of finite difference codes to study liquid crystal alignment on patterned substrates
