Research
Interests
Dr. Moon's research interests include system-level
structural behavior, the identification of boundary conditions, continuity
conditions, and force transfer mechanisms of long-span bridges; the
identification and management of modeling errors using novel updating
procedures that leverage quasi-deterministic parameters; the development of
performance models for Asset Management systems; seismic retrofit of
existing structures; and earthquake engineering.
