Supplemental Learning Activities

Download Mobile Merck Medicus application to your PDA. You will need to choose the platform that is specific to your PDA. This application has a wealth of information for medical professionals. The site can be found at: http://www.unboundmedicine.com/mobile_merckmedicus.htm

The download process is a two-step procedure:

  1. First register and install the Merck Medicus conduit onto your device. (be sure to select the full version AND the correct version-Palm or Pocket PC)
  2. Then, synchronize your device with the Merck Medicus website to get the update.  You will be asked to enter the username and password you created when you registered.

Once you have downloaded the application and see that you have all the content on your PDA, be sure to do a backup. Remember to give the backup a meaningful name (for example today’s date). Ideally, you should have the backup go to the SD or CF card
