Selection Tools
The selection of the resources for this site was completed by a four person team. At the beginning of the process, an informal search was done of colleagues, subject experts, and internet sources. The resulting list of resources were further investigated, using selection tools such as review databases to authenticate the worth of each resource. Using the authenticated resources as guides, the team then searched indices by recurring subject headings and prolific authors. The second tier list was again authenticated using reviews, both from scholarly journals and industry sources. As the search process progressed, the team felt sure that they had compiled a core set of the best resources available to help young adults living with grief.
