Professional Development

Hello, and welcome to Drexel SWE Professional Development! We are here to encourage you to get involved and explore not only your college life but also your career life. You will have the opportunity to learn about and put into action how you can start incorporating both these aspects of your engineering journey, to make the best of your educational experience.

Professional Development is an integral aspect of engineering education and serves as a bridge between schooling and career. Throughout the collegiate years, it is vital to build the skills, and develop the necessary abilities to be able to advance from being just a student to an active, contributing member of the engineering industry. Among the many ways through which Drexel SWE enables students to exercise professional development skills is by hosting speaker events, workshops, professor meet and greets, and engineering panel discussions.

These types of events allow students to maintain a strong and valuable connection between their educational life and their career life. We strive to efficiently integrate both these elements throughout student’s collegiate experiences, so that the transition into career life can become an easy and a more confident experience.

We encourage you to step in and take advantage of the many resources we have available for you through our events. If you have any suggestions for future events that you would like to see happen, please do not hesitate to contact us with your ideas. We would love to hear from you and plan for our future events according to your interests!

Don’t miss this opportunity to take advantage of the resources we have available for your use. We are very excited to host events that will simultaneously advance and improve your educational path as well as your career path.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!
