Hello
everyone:
Our advisor
Ms. Gail Gibbs noted to me that our Dean of Students David Ruth
was impressed with what we've accomplished so far this year -
so we are definitely getting some recognition this year. Let's
keep doing what we're doing.
Jenn K has
set up another event for this Saturday 5.21 which is:
Philadelphia
Cares About Fairmount Park Day!
Saturday, May 21st
8:45am-12:00pm
Site Assignment:
Historic Bartram’s Garden Area of City: West Philadelphia
Every year
over a thousand volunteers come out for Philadelphia Cares About
Fairmount Park Day to clean and green our Philly's most treasured
resource.
Bartram Gardens
- was the first botanical garden in the city of Philadelphia.
It is a historical site built in the 1700s. For the event we are
going to be doing some gardening and spring cleaning.
The best thing
about the location is not only is beautiful but it accessible
by trolley from Drexel.
We will meet
by 8:30 AM at the big ugly Dragon on 33rd and Market. NSCS will
purchase a bunch of tokens if we decide to take the trolley.
Here is the
link to the location site, check it out at http://www.bartramsgarden.org/
This is the
link to our group page, please reply to this email or sign up
here if you are thinking about going:

of gardening gloves can be helpful too.)
