Why did you join the NAACP?
Because my momma told me....Naw!!! i joined because the NAACP gives me the opportunity to set the tone for minorities on our campus. I just would like to give everyone the opportunity to be heard and to have fun also.

What is a major problem on campus today (besides the Drexel Shaft)? .
The voice of minorities on Drexel's campus is seldom heard. This leads to many other problems such as students not knowing University policies and benefits. Also, members of the NAACP have to be aware of what is going on at the university so that we can inform OUR community.

How can we strengthen the unity of minority students on campus?
Sharing information with one another. Having a sincere interest in what other minority groups do. Whether it is the BSU, WISE, Fraternities or Sororities, we should all support one another and help each other.

Does racism and discrimination still exist on Drexel's campus?
Yes it does. It doesn't seem very blatant to me because I try not to focus on it too much. But it does exist at this university.

Why should people join the NAACP?
This organization has the potential to do some very special things not only for the Drexel community but also the surrounding community. I am looking forward to some of the good things that the NAACP will do in the future.

Why is the gap between the rich and poor so huge?
Greed. No one wants to help the next person or the less fortunate. Most minorities for get about the less fortunate. The instead help out the people in their circle. Another reason for this is the fact that everyone should concentrate on providing careers for the less fortunate instead of just a job.

Is the "man" keeping you down?
I could easily say "yes" but that goes against all of the wisdom i have learned from my family. The only person that can keep me "down" is me. My life is not based on the choices of others but the choices that I make. I have no time to focus on the "man"...the "man" had better watch me.

What do you plan to do after graduation?
I would like to go to law school but I will be pursuing an MS in Information Systems. After that, I will pursue my JD with a concentration in Intellectual Properties.

Anything you would like to say to anyone reading this?
Obstacles are what you see when you take your eyes off the goal.

What do you do as vice president?
Shall be to preform all the duties of the president in his/her absence or disability. In case of one or more Vice President, the Vice Presidents shall be designated as first, second, third, etc. and shall perform duties according to rank.
