Jacqueline Yim

Hello fellow Drexel Graduate Students! My name is Jacqueline Yim and I am the GSA Secretary for this 2008-2009 year. I am a fourth year PhD candidate in the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department. In the past two years, I’ve served on the Chemical and Biological Engineering Graduate Student Association (CBE GSA) as the Vice-President and President. During my time here at Drexel as a graduate student, I can personally vouch upon the benefits and importance of actively participating in GSA-sponsored events. Our time spent here at Drexel should be an enjoyable, rewarding and enlightening one, where relationships with other graduate students and faculty can be forged. As always there are improvements and concerns that we as a whole would like to see and voiced such as obtaining fully-subsidized health insurance coverage, competitive stipends, and general safety in and around campus. This year, I would like to build upon the activities and continue the hard work done by the past GSA boards in making life and time spent here at Drexel a memorable one.
