The IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) is the largest professional organization of biomedical engineers int he world with over 9,000 members. EMBS has been serving the needs of biomedical engeers throughout the world since the early 1950's. Through its leadership, EMBS strives to develop new ways to serve its members with workshops, publications, conferences, and a distinguished lecture series.  Membership in this society is a very wise choice for those individuals interested in continued professional development. Elections Results are in!!  Congratulations to our new board members:

We have been receiving many interesting suggestions for the "Top Reasons I Became a Biomed Engineer at Drexel.." on the T-shirt and we'll decide on which ones to keep at the next meeting.

A general body meeting to announce the officers and upcoming events is coming up soon. Details to follow. Again, thanks to all those who voted and congratulations to the new executive board. Please bring your ideas and suggestions for what types of activities you would like EMBS to arrange in the coming terms.
