Site Tours - We've visited local sites such as the Comcast Center and High Steel. We plan on visiting the Art Museum expansion, the Murano building, and the CHOP expansion. These tours are great places to learn about the companies building them, and events where you can extend your professional network.

Steel Bridge - Every year AEI constructs a 20' model steel bridge for the national competition. We are scored on the weight, efficiency, and construction speed. The steel bridge team is officially hosted by ASCE and AISC, but here at Drexel, AEI has taken over the team. We have placed in the regional competition for the last two years and hope to do so again this year.

General Meetings - Twice a term we hold general body meetings. Dinner is typically provided, and we discuss the organization's direction over the next term. We hope have guest lecturers come to these meetings and speak about leading topics relevant to architectural engineers.
Collaboration - AEI has been collaborating with ASCE for the past few years to bring even more events to the Drexel community. We hope to team up with the Drexel Energy Club to start a series of green initiatives to the Drexel community. We will also be working with the PDC to keep AEI members up to date with the latest projects occurring on the Drexel campus.
