About Us

AEI at Drexel - Here at Drexel AEI is an independant student organization open to all undergraduates from all majors. We work closely with ASCE and other engineering organizations at Drexel. We host a wide range of activities from Lecture, to Site Tours, to Sponsoring the steel bridge team. The steel bridge team is the most active portion of AEI at Drexel, and we have placed in the regional competition for the last two years.

National AEI - AEI is the home for all professionals in the building industry. We provide a multi-disciplinary national forum for members of but not limited to the architectural engineering, structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural communities. Recognizing the necessity for a place to examine issues and exchange views and information with one another, AEI was established in 1998. AEI works to facilitate the crucial communication among members of the building team, both on a technical basis and in the professional arena. In addition, we strive to be the premier organization for: timely quality technical literature, professional advocacy, and educational opportunities.

Steel Bridge - The steel bridge team is a large portion of AEI. We have placed regionaly for the last two years

Site Tours - We have hosted site tours to famous local buildings such as the Comcast Center. We are plannning many exciting tours in the months to come.
