Instruction

I’d like to think that my instruction feels a lot the the environment.  Well actually, they could be considered an intertwined formulation of that kind of variety in my classroom environment.

My thoughts are that if you can provide the students with as many ways to present a lesson, or subject or give them information during a class period, you also have a higher rate of keeping their attention, and more importantly: interest.

CHAD provided a great setting for me to witness and implement this because they are a school that focuses on architecture and design.  By using lessons and activities that gave the students a chance to use their other skill sets: drawing, imagination, and creativity, not only did we see great art and design, we witnessed the class having fun and learning at the same time.  I believe that this type of multifaceted instruction and learning can be used in any setting at any school with the same great results.

Instruction Like Environment

Understanding course content and student needs, as well as providing a variety of ways to present material can make the delivery of subject material easier to plan and easier to implement.
