On-line Scheduling for USMLE™ Step 1 / Step 2 CK Applicants in International Testing Regions

Traditionally, applicants registered for USMLE Step 1/Step 2 Clinical Knowledge (Step 2 CK) in international testing regions (testing regions other than the United States/Canada) have scheduled their testing appointments by telephone, fax, or mail. In January 2004, Prometric®, which provides scheduling and test centers for USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK, began offering applicants registered for international testing regions the ability to schedule their testing appointments on-line. Prior to this, on-line scheduling had been available only to applicants registered for the United States/Canada testing region. Applicants registered for international testing regions can now also reschedule, cancel, and confirm testing appointments on-line, regardless of the method used to schedule their appointments. Scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling by telephone, fax, and mail will continue to be available to applicants registered for international testing regions.

Before scheduling your testing appointment, you must have received your Step 1/Step 2 CK scheduling permit. To access Prometric's on-line scheduling, registered applicants should visit the Prometric website at www.prometric.com.
