Curriculum

During the program, participants will develop knowledge and skills in a wide range of educational concepts, such as problem-based learning, adult learning theory, interactive lecturing, use of computers in education, clinical skills teaching and assessment, faculty development, student assessment, laboratory use, audio-visual techniques, and program evaluation.

Participants will learn methods for effective organizational leadership and will have significant opportunities to network with educational leaders in medicine and other fields from around the world. Leadership skills addressed include: program evaluation, project management tools, change management, conflict management, strategic planning, and use of web-based tools for communication. Participants will also learn about their own personality style and how to use it to become effective leaders.
