Candidate Identification Number

The number listed on your scheduling permit that you will enter into the computer on the date of your test.

CBT

Computer-based testing.

CD

Compact disc.

CIN

Confirmation Number

The number Prometric will give you when you schedule your testing appointment.

ECFMG

Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, your registration entity.

Eligibility Period

The three-month period, indicated on your scheduling permit, during which you are eligible to take the exam.

Examination Fee

The fee that all applicants pay to take the exam.

International Test Delivery Surcharge

The additional cost of taking the exam in an international testing region.
