Computer-based USMLE: An Introduction for

Examinees with Documented Disabilities


Appropriate accommodations will be made for USMLE examinees with documented disabilities. If you have a documented disability covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), you should visit the USMLE web site to get information on requesting test accommodations. You can also request this information by calling (215) 386-5900 or by faxing to (215) 386-6327. Click here for the address you can use to request a copy in writing. You should review this information and and follow its instructions before you send your application for the exam to ECFMG. ECFMG will forward your request for test accommodations to NBME. NBME will inform you of the outcome of your request once it has been processed. ECFMG will forward your request to NBME. NBME evaluates requests for test accommodations in accordance with USMLE policies and procedures. Once your request has been processed, NBME will inform you of the outcome of your request.
