The following questions are based on today’s presentation. Please take a few minutes to reflect on these prior to our next meeting. I am hopeful that we will be able to incorporate some of your thoughts and ideas into the training design plan.
- Think about the 10 key components for success in training design and
implementation. What are some ways that we can ensure that we meet all ten? Are there other components that should be addressed? Think back to your experiences in training, both positive and negative.
- Consider a complex task that you have encountered at work. What stages did you need to go through in order to complete the task? What were your feelings during the different stages? How do those stages reflect Kuhlthau’s ISP? Would your experience make for a good example for your department’s training session?
- How do you use information at work? What kind of information sources do you use? What difficulties have you encountered?
