This course offers a hands-on introduction to planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating modern information resources. Students will learn webpage composition with both (X)HTML coding and sophisticated web design software, as well as photo and graphics composition. Students will also have opportunities to explore scripting, multimedia, and some web 2.0 publishing ideas. Important design considerations including accessibility and respect for intellectual property will guide class projects.
