Jeanes Hospital
Donor Recognition Display

The challenge was to design a system which could be maintained by the hospital’s facility’s staff as donor tiles were added over time.  The visible gridwork framing each tile conceals a secondary gridwork which allows for exact placement of tiles during installation.  The secondary grid also holds newly installed tiles in place while they set and prevents tiles from falling off of the wall should the cement dry out over time.  The visible gridwork is hinged to close and lock in place over the secondary gridwork, thus creating a theft-proof display.

Christiana Special Care Unit
NICU Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame was intended to provide hope for the many families whose infant(s) start life in the NICU.  The display incorporated  original family taken photos of some of the tiniest babies during their NICU stay.  The present day photos of these same happy, healthy children were taken by Wilmington photographer, Ingo Schukraft who worked to capture the vitality of each of these super-survivors.
