This state-of-the-art, 36,000 square foot freestanding facility provides the Wilmington community with a warm, friendly atmosphere for the day surgery patient.  The rich oak detailing and soothing palette of lavenders, creams and greens of the main lobby compliment the eye catching mural of the Winterthur landscape displayed in the atrium above.  The warmth of this palette is carried into the patient areas where each patient has a private recovery cubicle.  The use of decorative borders, wall sconces and artwork personalize each cubicle.  Spacious nurse stations and state-of-the-art operating rooms facilitate the excellence of care delivered to each patient.

The total scope of work included finish and furniture selection and specification, signage programming and copy development, artwork selection and location.   During the design of the commissioned mural, we  worked together with the Owner and artist to select a view,  develop a color palette and refine the detailing.
