SKF North American Headquarters
Relocation Project
Lansdale, PA
This 55,000 sf renovation of a warehouse
facility relocated over 250 employees from outdated systems cubes to
state-of-the-art Knoll workstations. The challenge was to
develop ergonomic workspaces promoting project team interaction
while providing acoustic privacy for customer service technicians.
Executives and middle management were given workstations with their
associated staffs to improve workflow and communication. An
auditorium, training and conferencing centers as well as a cafeteria
provide facility support. The main lobby showcases products
from the world’s largest manufacturer of ballbearings.
From project inception to client move-in, this project was
successfully completed in under 9-months. I acted as the
project manager, leading programming, design and space
planning efforts. I served as primary client contact,
coordinating the architectural and interior design teams, and
facilitating construction meetings. |
