Minnick Family Research

Most of my research efforts for the past two years have centered on tracing our Minnick heritage. Of all our family lines, this one appears to hold the deepest American roots. Traced as far back as Philip Minnich, my 5th-great grandfather, the family can be found living in late 18th century Philadelphia, faithfully attending St. Marks & Zion, a German Lutheran Church.

Many questions remain. Where in Germany did the Minnick family emigrate from? Who was our original immigrant ancestor? I invite you to explore the current state of Minnick research.
