About
I am the daughter of a librarian, and my Mother inspired me to follow in her footsteps. I am a recent graduate of Drexel University where I earned my MLIS degree with a concentration in Digital Libraries. I am fascinated by the human mind, and have my BA in Psychology. During my coursework I developed a strong interest in emerging technologies, information architecture, and metadata. These interests are complemented by a lifelong love of learning and research.
Outside of my academic and professional interests I am becoming a health and fitness enthusiast. I attempt to exercise six times a week and love to hike, swim, kayak, play basketball, and be outdoors. I don't eat fast food or meat that wasn't raised humanely. I support my local farms and farmers, and take my food seriously. I love to travel and my next dream trip is a tour of Nicaragua, Panama, and Costa Rica. Finally, I am a passionate supporter of women's rights and GLBT rights.
