Leveraging Web 2.0 Technologies

Below are links to short demonstration movies. They will walk viewers through acquiring a del.ici.ous or Google account, implementing the selected tool, modifying the settings of the users account to make it public and finally adding a script to any web page that will display items marked in the application.

Used in this way either tool can be configured so that it will add instructor suggested content to a page in the course management system.

• del.icio.us - A tool for saving and sharing links to web sites.
• Google Reader - A tool for reading and "saving" blog and news feed articles
