All these sun photometers measure aerosol optical thickness at green and red wavelengths, as described
in the GLOBE Aerosol Protocol. Assembled instruments are aligned and calibrated for immediate use.
Note: The
DB25 connector and leads from the rotary switch are still included with Item #4, but no connections
are made to the connector. This reflects the fact that this computer connection has almost never been
used in the
field, and the original connections for a specific analog-to-digital interface are now used only on
IESRE's own reference instruments used for calibrations. Contact IESRE prior to ordering if you have specific uses for the DB25
connector.
