Leonard Borriello                                                    
My name is Leonard Borriello and I am currently finishing up my freshman year here at Drexel University.  I recently finished up an enlistment in the United States Navy before returning to the university at the beginning of 2008.  I am a business administration major with a dual concentration in marketing and legal studies.  I am very interested in becoming an active member of the Biddle Law Society board.  I plan to go to law school after earning my bachelor’s degree and I think serving on the Law board will be a great way to garner experience and exposure to the legal world.  I would like to be considered for the position of president.  I feel I am qualified for these positions for three reasons.  First, my GPA is very high, as I transferred in with a 4.0, last term earned a 3.9, and this term I am forecasted to have a 4.0.  Second, I am a currently a prosecutor for Drexel’s Mock Trial team which is already giving me extensive exposure to the legal world, experience that I can bring to the board, should I be elected.  Third, my military experience has cultivated a serious sense of discipline, organization, and commitment that allows me to complete tasks effectively, efficiently and successfully.  If I am bestowed with the pleasure of serving on the board, I will bring my dedication and skills with me to bring the Law Society to newer, greater heights.  Thank you for taking the time to read my proposal and I look forward to hearing from you.
