| Ilkka Sinisalo | Apparently, Sinisalo is now a European scout for the San Jose Sharks as of Sept. 12, 1998. You can look at the press release here. But thank you to Mick O, one of our Phans who pointed out that is just a 'side job' as he is also GM of the Finnish SM-Liiga. |
| Brantt Myhres | By accident, while searching for info on Sinisalo, I realized that just one day earlier (Sept. 11) the Sharks had signed Brantt as a free agent. The Sharks are making all the right moves. (besides the fact they are a pretty bad team) From a former Flyers standpoint anyway, they are. |
| Jay Wells | Thank you to one of our Phans who supplied this info on the former defenseman: Retired after 1996/97 season. Was hired in the summer of 1998 as Assistant Coach for Portland Pirates. Head coach is none other than the great Bryan Trottier. |
| Brian Propp | To find out what Brian's doing, turn on a radio. That's right, Propp has replaced Steve Coates as color commentator for Flyers radio broadcasts. He is also the latest player inducted into the Flyers Hall of Fame. |
