Founded in 1993, following the destruction of Hurricane Hugo in 1989, Our Town Frederiksted has been working with property owners and the Virgin Islands government, in an effort to find financial and technical resources to assist property owners in our historic districts with the restoration of their buildings. The goal was to preserve the historic ambiance of the town of Frederiksted and to retain ownership of the proud history of those who struggled to acquire them in the past.

Our Town Frederiksted is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization.
