Update for Week 8 homework:
This is a list of the order in which I'll finish the rest of the game.
Stars in the universe are exploding into supernovas and need to be fixed quickly! It's your job to travel around the galaxy and create new colorful stars with the exploding debris from the supernovas. When you begin work on a star, you're given a "goal" as to what the star should look like, and to pass each level you must get a good "grade" on it, a 70% match or higher. Each star that you must create is a separate in game level, and the levels gets progressively more difficult as the game goes on.
The game is played by moving your character around a circle that has color energy randomly expanding out of its center. You must collect the correct colored energy to make the goal star that you've been assigned to make. As a bonus, you can collect light energy to boost your final percentage.
You play as a vector-looking ship that has two outstreched collector arms that gather the light and color energy. You move your character with the left and right arrow keys on the keyboard, and you simply move around in a circle on the edge of the nova circle.
There are three main kinds of color energy that can be collected. Red, Green, and Blue. These add color to your star. However, there are also -Red, -Green, and -Blue anti-energies that take their respective colors away from your star. This way, you can subtract a color that you have too much of, and you must avoid them if you have not enough of a certain kind of energy.
In addition to the color energies, there is light energy and dark energy. Your star starts out at a normal brightness, however as you collect light or dark energy, your star will get brighter or darker. It is better to have a bright star, so having more light energy than dark energy in your final star will help its percentage, on top of the color matching.
When energy is collected, your star is altered in real-time to show what it looks like based on what colors you've collected.
